The smallest and the least deadly spider is the most common enemy at night on Uninhabited Islands. It's not easy to spot under grass and is not so easy to hit either. If the Small Spider manages to hurt the player, it is not certain that the player is able to hit the spider from the same distance, so going close towards it would help hitting it.
If the spider bites/hits the player, there is a high chance of being poisoned.
