The Shortbow is typically a player's first ranged weapon, easily crafted by regular wood and fibers.
Though considerably weaker than the Hardwood Shortbow and Ancient Bow, it still remains an effective ranged weapon against weaker mobs and pirates. Uses Crude Arrows, Hardstone Arrows, and Poison Arrows as ammo.
