Bird

Birds can be found on any island in the world of Salt. They are only present during the day, vanishing as soon as the sun sets and reappearing in daytime.They come in 6 varieties: White, Black, Red, Yellow, Green, and Blue. The Blue variety is known as Old Blue, a lot bigger than other varieties, has a lot more health, and can drop exclusive items. Each variety normally drops 1-2 feathers of its respective colour, which can be turned in to a Sea Collector for rare items.

Trivia

• Due to their low health (2 hp), it is best to hunt birds using Avian Arrows, as they're easy to make and deal just enough damage to kill a bird in a single shot.
• Birds killed above water will float, allowing the player to hunt and loot them at sea.

• First introduced in Update 1.9.5: Birds of Paradise.
